Bill Hassett was named the NEFC Defensive player of the week after forcing two fumbles in the third quarter which led to two touchdowns in the Bison’s win at Worcester State on Friday September 19. Hassett led the defense with five tackles and had 3.5 tackles for a loss of 8 yards. He leads the team in 21 tackles this season and 13 solo hits. He posted a season high with 11 tackles which earned him a spot on the NEFC weekly honor roll.
