Freshman Shayne Sutton had a breakout performance for the Bison, rushing for 156 yards on 17 carries (9.2 yard average), while racking up two touchdowns. Sutton's 36-yard rushing touchdown with five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter solidified the win for the Bison, pulling them ahead by nine. He was named the CCC Offensive Rookie of the Week for his efforts.
