CROSS COUNTRY - Graduate student Shawn Tobin was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Runner of the Week following a fourth-place finish at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday. Tobin posted a time of 25:57.75, breaking the previous school record for an 8K race, set by Brendan Coughlin who ran the five mile race in 26:12.21 in 2016. The record-breaking performance helped his Bison finish seventh out of a 20-team field, and added to Tobin's impressive fall running resume, as the Bennington, Vt. native has led the Bison in every race this season while working towards this program-best.
