Junior Brennan Hyde was named to the All-CCC First Team for his contributions at bat and in the outfield during the 2023 campaign in which his team finished third in the conference's regular season. The Tampa, Fla. native led the Bison in multiple offensive categories, including batting average (.357), hits (50), RBI (34), slugging % (.593), and tied for the team lead in home runs with eight. His eight home runs ranked top five in the CCC, while his batting average and slugging % slated inside the top 10. On Monday, March 6 against Wheaton, the outfielder set a Nichols program record when he slugged three home runs in a single game. This marks Hyde's second career All-CCC selection.
