In a 2-1 week for the Bison, sophomore forward Pete Atkins (Gainesville, Fla.) scored a career high 33 points and pulled down a team high eight rebounds in a 82-67 non-conference victory over Westfield State. Atkins shot 93% (13-14) from the free throw line and 57% (4-7) from three point range to become the first Bison to score 33 points since the 2006 season. Atkins added three points, three steals, and five rebounds in a 65-57 victory over Suffolk and in a loss to Clark, led the team with 18 points on (7-11) shooting. Atkins averaged 18 points and five rebounds a game while shooting 44% (16-36) from the field and 80% (16-20) from the free throw line during the week.
