Junior Austin Martin (Wakefield, R.I.) batted .400 (4-10) with five RBIs on the week and also earned the first victory of the season for the Bison on the mound in Cocoa Beach, Fla. Martin went 3-5 including a three-run homerun and an RBI double in the season opener against SUNY New Paltz. Martin then threw a complete game allowing just two earned runs over seven innings and striking out six in a 7-2 victory over Richard Stockton.
