DUDLEY, Mass. (5/26/2026) - The Nichols College Softball team landed three selections on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Softball Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Senior
Allie Silliman, junior
Kyla Felicani, and sophomore
Molly Medor made up the list of Bison honorees. The honor marks the first for Medor and second for Felicani, while Silliman caps her collegiate career as a three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Eligible nominees must own a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA, and compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played, or start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched a minimum of 35 innings.
Silliman, a Sport Management degree holder with a 3.70 GPA, was a key contributor to the program in 2026, finishing as the team leader in doubles (11) while batting .348 with 39 hits, 22 runs scored, and 16 RBI across 37 appearances. A team captain and native of Rensselaer, New York, she also made an impact on the defensive side of the ball, fielding 241 putouts to match her career-high fielding percentage of .988, which she also hit last season. Her campaign was also highlighted by two notable milestones, where she became the program's all-time doubles record holder, and later recorded her 1,000
th career putout.
Felicani, a native of Lowell, Massachusetts and a Marketing major with a 3.83 GPA, was another frequent flyer for the Bison in 2026 as a member of their outfield unit. This season, she compiled a stat line of 18 hits with eight RBI, starting in each of her 32 appearances throughout. She finished the season with a .217 average at the plate, alongside .241 slugging and a .301 on-base percentage, and totaled five multi-hit performances, with a season-high three at Trinity (Conn.) on April 8
th.
Medor, the lone pitcher and native of Highgate, Vermont, was a go-to starter in the circle this season, appearing in 23 contests with 19 total starts. Her season included a 7-11 overall record with 13 complete games, two shutouts and a save, in addition to a career-high 110 strikeouts, which ranked as the second highest total in the CNE. Her 2026 performance also included a 3.90 ERA, a season-high 11 strikeouts against Gordon College (3/27), and a nine-strikeout outing in the season finale win over Endicott College (4/29), which earned her CNE Pitcher of the Week honors for the first time in her collegiate career. From the classroom, she majors in Human Resource Management, and owns a 3.7
