WALTHAM, Mass. (3/22/2026) - The Nichols College women's tennis team traveled to the Gosman Athletic Center on Sunday to battle it out with nationally ranked No. 23 Brandeis University in a non-conference match-up. The Judges proved to be a test for the Bison, winning the day 7-0.

With the result, Nichols moves to 15-3 overall for the season, while the Judges improve to 7-3.

Brandeis secured the doubles point with wins at the top two positions. At No. 1, Kamora Helton and Pamela Gonzalez Vallardi dropped a 6-3 decision, with the No. 2 pairing of Charis Vogler and Cora Brosch falling 6-0. The third doubles match went as a win for Brandeis due to walkover.

In singles play, the Judges continued their momentum by taking all six courts. Vogler delivered one of the most competitive performances of the day at No. 2 singles, pushing her opponent to a pair of tight sets before falling 3-6, 6-7 (3-7). Brosch also kept it close, but ultimately lost on court No. 4, 3-6, 4-6.

Nichols will look to bounce back in their final match-up for the regular season against Connecticut College on Saturday, April 18th. The game will be hosted at the Robinson Tennis Courts, with a start time of 10:00 AM.
