Nichols College Athletics

BOSTON, Mass. (3/1/2026) - Both men's and women's track & field traveled to The Track at New Balance on Sunday to compete in the NED3 Indoor Track & Field Championships. The men's saw competition from Nolan Charbonneau, Patrick Bergin, Giormani Fortes De Brito, Gregory Sadlak, Jack Crowley, and Gino Di Vito. Women featured Lili Mansuell, Caminea Layman, Ashley Cabrera Rodriguez, Gabrielle McKayle, Summer Bruno, and Adison Dawe. 

The Bison's men's 4x400 relay team of Charbonneau, Bergin, Fortes De Brito, and Gregory Sadak shattered the program record for both indoor and outdoor 4x400 relay with their time of 3:29.38. Their time knocks off the last indoor record time of 3:48.47 set at the Wesleyan Indoor Relays (1/25/2025), and the previous No. 1 outdoor record of 3:29.57 set at the CCC Championship (4/30/2022).

Women's track & field matched the record breaking tempo in the same event for their 4x400. Cabrera Rodriguez, Layman, Bruno, and McKayle produced a time of 4:36.66 for the relays, stamping a new No. 1 program record for the event. The time replaces the previous mark of 4:45.05 set at the CCC Championship (4/27/2019). 

Along with the 4x400 relay record, Nichols' 4x200 relay team consisting of Mansuell, Layman, Cabrera Rodriguez, and McKayle posted a time of 1:53.92, now the No. 1 program record for the event as the first entry for the women.
