DUDLEY, Mass. (2/5/2026) - Interim Director of Athletics Kristan Mallet has announced the third annual department-wide giving event in support of the College's 24 varsity programs, TODAY! The NICHOLS ATHLETICS GIVING DAY initiative has been successful thanks to the continued generosity and commitment of Nichols alumni, families, and friends, and remains a key driver of sustainable growth, pride, and opportunity across Nichols Athletics.

This strategic fundraising effort focuses on long-term investments in facility branding that foster institutional pride, student-athlete development initiatives that enhance the collegiate experience, and professional development opportunities for athletics staff. Together, these priorities strengthen the foundation of Nichols Athletics and support continued success both on and off the field.

In addition to department-wide impact, the giving day structure ensures individual programs directly benefit from the event, allowing teams to address their unique needs and priorities while contributing to a unified vision for the future of Nichols Athletics.

"Our goal is to build something sustainable - an athletics program that reflects continued pride in our facilities, invests in our people, and supports growth across every level of the department," said Mallet. "The success of this event is a direct result of the incredible support from our alumni, families, and friends, and we are grateful for their continued investment in our student-athletes and programs."

Donations can be made through the official Day of Giving Portal and will be accepted all day. Nichols Athletics is setting its sights on a $30,000+ goal.
