Nichols College Athletics

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (2/20/2026), PROVIDENCE, R.I. (2/21/2026) - The Nichols College men's track & field team put together a busy weekend slate, opening competition at the Springfield Triangle Classic at Springfield College on Friday before returning to action at the Brown Invitational hosted by Brown University on Saturday.

The lone Bison competing in the Springfield Triangle Classic was Liam Wilcox, who participated in the Heptathlon, earning a combined score of 3566 points. His Heptathlon score marks the No. 1 record as it the first ever in the program.

The Brown invitational saw three total record breaks on the day; two of the new No. 1 spot additions come from Nolan Charbonneau. Charbonneau's 300m dash time of 38.00 marks a new program record and notched a fourth place finish, replacing teammate Christopher Lanier's mark of 38.88 at the Brown University Invitational (2/17/2024). Charbonneau carried his streak of record-breaking into the 60m hurdles, posting a time of 8.67 and replacing his own No. 1 program time of 8.68 at the Tufts Cupid Challenge last week, warranting a sixth place finish in the meet. Braxton Rocha's momentum from last week's triple jump program record carried into the event today, seeing him tally a distance of 12.80m in the event and beating out his former spot with 12.71m.
