Women's Soccer Blanked at Home by Suffolk

DUDLEY, Mass. (10/7/2026) - The Nichols College women's soccer team fell to Suffolk University, 6-0, Wednesday afternoon at the Nichols Soccer field.

The loss drops Nichols to 2-9-1 on the season, and 1-4 in the CNE. Suffolk moves to 5-1-4 on the season, and 2-1-1 in the CNE.

Suffolk opened the scoring in the seventh minute when Scarlett D'Amico found the back of the net off an assist from Olivia Sharkansky. Sharkansky added a goal of her own with just over seven minutes remaining in the first half, sending the Rams into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

The Bison recorded two shots in the opening 45, with attempts from Summer Bruno and Rylyn McInnis. 

Suffolk extended its lead early in the second half when Isa Peraza scored in the 52nd minute off a feed from Bria Baughman. Peraza struck again less than 11 minutes later, assisted by Liyah Davis.

D'Amico completed her two-goal performance in the 66th minute, scoring Suffolk's fifth goal of the match. Paige Kennedy capped the scoring in the 80th  minute with an assist from Olivia Chamberlain.

Freshman goalkeeper Elizabeth Johnson made 11 saves on the night, including seven in the first half. Suffolk goalkeeper Arden Rose recorded three saves.

The Bison return to action Tuesday, October 13th, against the University of Hartford. The game will be at home on the Nichols Soccer Field at 3:00pm.
