WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (4/19/2025) – The Nichols College men's track & field team saw one Program record fall as they competed at the Bonnie Edmundson Classic on Friday afternoon hosted by Eastern Connecticut State University. The Bison as a team finished in ninth overall.

Sophomore Liam Wilcox set a new Program Record in the Pole Vault with a 3.70m jump, surpassing the previous record of 3.65m set at the Penmen Relays in 2022 by Andrew Napolitano. Wilcox finished in second place overall for the Bison in the event.

Sophomore Amani Mkambavange earned a fourth-place finish in the triple jump with a 12.57m jump. His teammate freshman Eric Manilut clocked an 11.20 second time in the 100m dash to finish in fifth place overall.

The 4x100m relay team of Manilut, Nolan Charbonneau, Avery Mitchem, and Giormani Fortes De Brito finished in sixth-place with a 44.02.
