BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (4/12/2025) – The Nichols College men's track & field team competed at the Bears Invitational hosted by Bridgewater State University on Friday afternoon. The Bison saw two top two finishes in the throwing events.
Junior
Tyler Sandford earned a second-place finish in shot out when he recorded a 12.68m throw on his third attempt. Teammate
Michael Carbone secured fourth place with an 11.94m and
Mitchel Adamson grabbed sixth-place with an 11.52m throw.
In Javelin throw, freshman
Chad Moffat finished in second place with a 52.13m throw and teammate
Zachary Yarnall was right behind him with a third-place finish at 49.38m.
Junior
Gino Di Vito raced in the 1500m race, clocking a 4:53.73 and finishing in fifth overall in the race. Senior
Ryan Rispoli secured a top three spot in the 5000m race with a 16:59.33.
