DUDLEY, Mass. (3/31/2025) – The Nichols College Baseball dropped a Monday afternoon non-conference game at the hands of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy from the Nichols Baseball Field. Nichols lost 10-1 to the Buccaneers.
Freshman
Ryan Keating was the lone Bison to record multiple hits, going 2-4 from the plate. Senior
Stanley Cipkas went 1-2 with the one RBI too.
Nichols opened the scoring in the second inning when Cipkas singled in Harty from third base to take a 1-0 lead. The tides shifted from there and the Buccaneers scored 10 unanswered runs on their way to a 10-1 over the Bison.
Sophomore
Will Lally earned his first collegiate start and threw 3.2 innings, while allowing one hit, one run, and fanning four batters. Senior
Nolan Sullivan (0-1) shouldered the loss, throwing 0.1 innings, and allowing one run.
Nichols (8-9, 1-3 CNE) will hit the road and travel to Hartford, Conn. to face off against CNE opponent Hartford University for a Tuesday afternoon game. First pitch is set for 3:00 p.m.
