DUDLEY, Mass. (11/8/2025) – In their final game on Vendetti turf this season, the Nichols football program fell to conference opponent Husson University by a score of 63-19 on a breezy Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Bison move to 2-7 (2-4 CNE) overall, while the Eagles improve to 3-6 (2-4 CNE).
The game, which celebrated Nichols' 19 graduating seniors, was also highlighted by a record-setting performance by graduate student receiver
Jack Morvan, who became the first Bison player to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in a single season, with his total now standing at a program record 1,067 and climbing. He was also a top performer for the Bison against the Eagles, totaling 146 yards on nine receptions, including two touchdowns. Senior quarterback

DJ Clay and sophomore
Caden Kehoe each tallied nine tackles, with Kehoe also throwing in one pass breakup.
The Bison fell victim to an early fumble on their first trip down the field, resulting in a Husson recovery and what would become their first touchdown of the day several plays later. The Eagles then made it a 14-0 contest following a stop on Nichols' next drive, putting the hosts in an early hole with 5:30 to play in the first. Nichols would eventually break through on their third drive, with Snow finding Morvan in the Husson endzone from 34 yards out, cutting the guest lead in half at 14-7 with
Nick Foynes converting on the extra point.
However, the Eagles would tighten their grip with a 14-0 second quarter, giving them a 28-7 cushion at halftime.
Nichols held its own in the third quarter, with Husson only outscoring the hosts by a 14-12 margin. The first of Nichols' two scores came at 9:52 of the quarter, with Snow and Morvan once again connecting from 30-yards out, while the second came by way of Clark's lone rushing touchdown of the afternoon, resulting in a 42-19 game after three quarters of play.
As was the case in the second frame, Husson would control the offense in the fourth quarter, piling on another 21 unanswered points to finish the job, 63-19.
