BEVERLY, Mass. (10/18/2025) - Nichols College women's tennis continued it's strong fall campaign with a 5-2 victory over Endicott College on the road Saturday afternoon, at the South Campus Tennis Courts.
Following the victory, women's tennis improves to a 10-1 overall record, and now stand at 7-1 in the Conference of New England. With the loss, Endicott drops to 5-5 for their record and 4-3 for conference play.
To start the day against the Gulls, the Bison took two of three doubles matches to grab the early point.
Erin Helly and
Catherine Pollock finished first ultimately with a loss. Following the loss, the pairing of Kemora Helton and
Pamela Gonzalez Vallardi wrapped up second posting a dominant win at court No. 1 with a score of 6-2. With a match in the pocket for each school, it was up to
Cora Brosch and
Charis Vogler on court No. 2 to win the point for the Bison. The duo delivered an excitingly close match marking a score of 7Â

5, coming down to a tie breaker point to win by two.
For singles play, a loss on court No. 6 and evened the score 1-1. Vogler finished next with a clutch win at the No. 2 spot, 6-1, 6-3, building momentum for the Bison. Helton continued her dominant level of play with a win on the No. 1 court, 6-0, 6-2, followed by a win from Gonzalez Vallardi over her opponent on court No. 3, 6-4, 6-3. The match finishing effectively won the game for the Bison, but a thrilling singles match from
Cora Brosch gave the team another point, 6-2, 2-6, 1Â

9. In a close loss on court No. 5 from Helly with a score of 4-6, 4-6,the Bison were left with a final score of 5-2.
The Bison will return for a match alongside the men's tennis team on Monday, October 20th against Franklin Pierce University at the Robinson Tennis Courts. The start time is set at 2:00 PM.
