HARRISVILLE, R.I. (1/11/2025) – The Nichols College men's hockey team dropped a non-conference match-up against Keene State University on Saturday afternoon from Levy Rink as they celebrated Senior Day. The Bison lost 3-0 to the Owls.

The Nichols College Division of Athletics celebrated the Men's Hockey Class of 2025, seniors Luke Harvie, Josh Dickson, Carson Asper, Gabe Temple, Kaiden Scott, Nathan Carl, and Louis Denison all were honored.

Freshman Michael Del Trecco made his collegiate debut in between the pipes for the Bison, turning away 18 shots in the loss. Junior Aaron Hamel led the way in the face-off circle going 11-17.

The Owls opened the scoring just under four minutes in with a wrist shot from the point that found the back of the net. A second goal in the first period made it 2-0 for the Owls as they headed into the locker room. A third goal in the second period, was the final goal scored as the Owls won 3-0.

Nichols will return to the ice next Friday, January 17, as they travel o Canton, Mass. to face-off against Conference of New England (CNE) opponent Curry College.
