DUDLEY, Mass. (9/4/24) - In their 2024 home opener, the Nichols College women's soccer team drew 1-1 with familiar non conference opponent the Russell Sage College Gators.
The tie is the second for the Bison in the young season, they now sit at 0-1-2 (0-0 CNE) on the year. The game marked the third all-time meeting between the two programs, the all-time series now sits at 1-1-1.Â
The Bison opened the scoring in the 38th minute when junior
Falyn Hunt took a blocked shot and darted out to graduate student
Grace Killman who potted her second goal of the season. The Bison continued to apply pressure and carry their 1-0 into the halftime break.

Saige Frazier, locking the game up at one apiece. The teams exchanged chances, most notably a Bison corner kick by
Emily Feisthamel with just over a minute to play in the match, but strong defense prevailed with the game settling with a 1-1 score.
