Dudley, Mass. (3/20/24) – The Nichols College Women's Tennis Team played hosts to Connecticut College for a non-conference matchup at the Robinson Tennis Courts on Wednesday afternoon in Dudley. The Bison fell to the visiting Camels by a 9-0 margin.
In doubles play, Charis Vogler and Antonia Carrero slotted in at number one, falling by an 8-2 margin. In the two and three positions, Johanna Schroder / Sofia Leonardi and Cora Brosch / Erin Helly both fell by an 8-3 margin respectively.
The Bison lineup in singles play saw the same six compete. Schroder had the most tightly contested match in the number two position, forcing a deciding third set. She untimely fell (5-7, 6-3, 10-7).
The match marked the third all-time meeting between the Bison and Camels, the Bison hold the record for all-time 2-1.
Women's Tennis looks to rebound and is back in action on Sunday, March 24th as they head to West Haven, Connecticut as they take on the University of New Haven. That match is set for 3 PM.
