Beverly, Mass. (2/16/24)- The Nichols College Women's Ice Hockey team fell to the No. 11 Endicott College Gulls 7-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference action on Friday evening in Beverly.

The game marked a special day for Nichols' graduate student
Kayla Currin who played in her 100
th game in a Bison uniform. The fifth year from Hudson, Massachusetts led the Bison with four shots in the game.

The Gulls got to work early, recording four goals in the first 20 minutes of play, ultimately taking a 4-0 lead into the locker room after one. The Bison were able to slow down the Gulls offense, holding them to 3 goals in the final 40 minutes of play.

In net for the Bison, junior goaltender
Anamary Pulgar stopped a career high 43 shots in the outing.

The Gulls outshot the Bison 50-19 in the game, and went 2 for 4 on the powerplay, while the Bison went 0-5 with the extra attacker.

The Bison return to action tomorrow, Saturday February 17
th as they play their regular season finale and senior night as they host Salve Regina University at The Levy, the senior ceremony will take place prior to puck drop which is set for 4:40PM. The Bison will honor their five graduating seniors
Grace Melanson, Meghan McElaney, Madison Collins-Macedo, Grace Wiggett and
Macee Salley.
