CANTON, Mass. (11/22/2024) – The Nichols College men's hockey team dropped a Friday night match up with #6 Curry College rom the Canton Ice House in Conference of New England (CNE) play.

Senior Kaiden Scott scored for the Bison in the second period. Classmate Josh Dickson and freshman Luca Ricci picked up assists on the goal.

Nichols worked the puck defense to defense, before Ricci fired a shot up to Dickson, Dickson drifted a pass to Scott who gathered in the pass as he crossed the blue line and beat the Curry netminder with a five-hole goal to cut into the lead. Nichols trailed 4-1 after 40 minutes of play.

The Colonels added an empty net goal in the final minutes of the third period to seal the 5-1 win over the Bison.

Sophomore Nick Anderson made 27 saves in the game. Nichols was 5-6 on the penalty kill.

Nichols will return to home to face off against the Colonels from Levy Rink on Saturday, November 23. Puck drop is set for 4:40 p.m.
