HARRISVILLE, R.I. (11/23/2024) – The Nichols College men's hockey team suffered a 6-0 loss at the hands of #6 Curry College in Conference of New England (CNE) play on Saturday afternoon from Levy Rink.
Sophomore
Nick Anderson shouldered the loss for the Bison, stopping 23 shots for the home team. The Colonels opened the scoring and quickly doubled their lead to make it 2-0 headed into the first intermission. Curry later added tow more goals in the second and a pair of power-play goals in the third period for a 6-0 win over Nichols.
Nichols outshot Curry 35-29 in the game and were 7-10 on the penalty-kill.
Nichols will hit the road on Tuesday night and head t New Hampshire to face off against Rivier University with puck drop set for 7:10 p.m.
