KEENE, N.H. (11/20/2024) – Freshman Kasey Litwin of the Nichols College women's ice hockey team, scored her second goal of the season on Wednesday night, as the Bison dropped a non-conference match up against Keene State from the Keene Ice Arena.

 Litwin scored her second goal of the season and sophomore Ema Jaskova added an assist. Senior Mckenzie Muir made 27 saves in the loss for the Bison.

After a scoreless first 20 minutes, the Bison grabbed a 1-0 lead mid-way through the second period, after an initial shot from Jaskova was saved, Litwin gathered in the loose puck and scored the wrap around goal to take the lead.

Nichols took the 1-0 lead into the dressing room. Keene State came out for the third period, scoring the ting goal on the power-play. The game needed extra time and at the 3:18 mark of overtime, the Owls scored to take the 2-1 win over the Bison.

Nichols (3-2-0, 1-1-0 CNE) will get back on the ice Friday night as they face off against CNE for Endicott from Levy Rink. Puck drop is set for 4:40 p.m.
