DUDLEY, Mass. (9/26/23) – The Nichols College field hockey team welcomed Salve Regina to Vendetti Field on Tuesday afternoon. The Bison lost 7-0 to the Seahawks.

The Seahawks opened the scoring at the 8:23 mark of the first quarter. They scored less then a minute later and jumped out to 2-0 lead. Salve Regina scored two more goals in the second quarter and added three more in the second half on their way to a 7-0 lead.

Freshman Sofia Calabro led the team with three shots. Junior Sophia Venable made 10 saves in the effort for Nichols.

The Bison will get back into CCC play as they welcome Gordon to Vendetti Field on Friday evening. Game time begins at 7 p.m. on September 29 for their homecoming game.
