Endicott Cruises Past Nichols

DUDLEY, Mass. (9/16/23) – The Nichols College field hockey team opened conference play on Saturday afternoon from Vendetti Field as they played host to Endicott College. The Bison fell 10-0 to the Gulls in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action.

The Gulls jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first quarter and did not look back as they cruised to a 10-0 win over the Bison. The Bison struggled to manage much offense against a very strong defensive unit from the Gulls.

Junior Sophia Venable earned the start in goal and stopped five shots in the effort. Freshman Fallyn Belisle made an appearance in net for the Bison, turning away three shots in the fourth quarter.

Nichols will continue their home stand, as they lay host to Eastern Connecticut State on Tuesday, September 19. Game time for that game on Vendetti is set for 7 p.m.
