DUDLEY, MASS. - The Nichols women's tennis team took down American International College by a score of 5-2 on Monday afternoon in its home finale at the Robinson Tennis Courts, playing with Division I scoring in effect. With the win, the Bison improved to 10-8 (5-2 CCC) on the year, while the Yellow Jackets fell to 0-10 (0-5 NE10).

The Bison started the action in doubles as Kelley Carlin and Jordan Knowles took the win on court two, 6-3, before the third court was won by default to land Nichols the doubles point.

Nichols would continue its success into its singles matches. After No. 5 and No. 6 singles wins went to the Bison by default, Johanna Schroeder would claim another victory on court three by a score of 6-1, 6-1 before Sophia Leonardi followed that up with a match win by a score of 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4. to claim the 10th victory of the season for the Bison.

The Bison are set to take to the courts once again in just 10 days' time as they face off against Smith on Wednesday, April 12 at the Smith Indoor Tennis Courts in Northampton, Mass.
