Smithfield RI. (10/10/23). – The Nichols Women's Tennis Team fell to Division 1 Bryant University in a non-conference matchup in Smithfield Rhode Island on Tuesday. The Bulldogs took the matchup by a 6-1 margin. With the loss, Nichols falls to 5-1 (3-1 CCC) on the season.
 
In doubles action the tandem of Sophia Leonardi / Johanna Schroeder picked up a 6-4 win in the number three spot, with Bryant picking up the wins in the number one and two matchups'.
 
In singles action, three was the magic number again for the Bison, with sophomore Charis Vogler getting the win at number three for the black and green (6-2, 6-4).

Nichols head coach Ron Gendron shared his thoughts following the match: "We played well and have made some progress over last year's results.  Lots of good going into a very long week".
 
The tennis team returns home to the hill, as they are set to host UMASS Boston in a non-conference match at the Robinson Tennis Court. The match is set for Thursday October 12^th at 3:30PM. The then have a Commonwealth Coast Conference match against Curry College on Friday October 13^th at 3:30PM.
