DUDLEY, Mass. - The Nichols men's soccer program defeated Mitchell College Monday afternoon, 5-3, at the Nichols Soccer Field.
The Bison (6-4-1) struck first four minutes into the match as sophomore
William Savage scored his team-leading ninth goal of the season off a pass from senior
Nikolas Padilla. Savage got back on the scoresheet just seven minutes later as freshman
Tristan Phillips sent Savage's pass to the back of the net. Freshman
Brady Stevenson extended the Nichols lead to 3-0 as he took a rebound shot by Phillips to the opposite corner of the goal.

John Milardo recorded his first career goal just under seven minutes into the second half. Milardo's rocket of a shot came off a perfectly placed pass by junior
Miron Jusufi.
The Mariners (2-6-0) got on the board 23 minutes into the second half, before Nichols sophomore
Fernando Barranco extended the lead back to four off a pass by freshman
Leon Lopez. Mitchell struck twice in the ensuing minutes, bringing the score to 5-3, where it would stay.
The Bison return to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Friday, September 30, as they host Wentworth at 3:00 p.m.
