DUDLEY, Mass. - The Nichols women's tennis team returned to action for the second time in as many days on Sunday afternoon and cruised to a 9-0 victory over Eastern Nazarene at the Robinson Tennis Courts.

The Bison, looking to bounce back from a loss the day before, jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles play. Antonia Carrero & Johanna Schroeder locked up the first court action, taking down a duo of Lions by a score of 6-0. 

In singles play, three Bison recorded straight sweeps with game scores of 6-0, 6-0, coming from Carerro, Charis Vogler, and Sophia Leonardi on courts one, two, and three, respectively.

Nichols (2-3, 1-1 CCC) will turn its attention to its third Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest of the season, as the Bison will host Salve Regina on Wednesday, September 28 at the Robinson Tennis Courts, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
