DUDLEY, Mass. – Graduate student Nathaniel Cormier drove in the game-winning run with one down in the ninth as the Nichols College baseball team rallied from a 2-1 ninth-inning deficit to defeat Lasell College 3-2 in non-conference baseball action at the Nichols Baseball Field.

Following an error and a wild pitch that brought in freshman Stanley Cipkas with the tying run, Cormier singled to left to bring in freshman William Nath to give the Bison their seventh win of the season.

Sophomore Andrew Croteau finished the day with two hits for Nichols while freshman starter Ben Weber fanned eight in 5.1 innings of work. The win went to senior Brendan Duffy, who tossed a scoreless ninth inning to pick up his first dub of 2022.
