DUDLEY, Mass. – Graduate student Nathaniel Cormier and senior DJ Caron each collected two hits and two RBI for the Nichols College baseball team in a 17-6 loss to Clark (MA) University Thursday afternoon in non-conference action at the Nichols Softball Field.

Cormier drove in two with a two-run blast in the third while Caron smacked a solo shot in the first for the Bison (11-15-1). Sophomore Johnny Knox added an RBI double for NC and sophomore Tyler St. Onge drew a bases-loaded walk and finished the day 1-for-3.

Nichols head coach Tim Mayo used eight different pitchers on the day, including junior Kyle McCutcheon, who fanned six in two innings of work. Freshman Clark Churchill fanned three in the eighth and did not allow a hit.
