Bison knocked off by Golden Bears

DUDLEY, Mass. - The Nichols College baseball team suffered a 14-2 loss to Western New England University Wednesday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Nichols Baseball Field.

Sophomore Johnny Knox and freshman Luis Vargas each smacked a solo home run for the Bison (11-13-1, 3-6-1 CCC), who also received a pair of hits from senior DJ Caron.

Freshman Sean Ryan allowed five hits and four runs in 1.1 innings of work to fall to 2-2 for Nichols.
