FRANKLIN, Mass. – Freshman Hadley Houghton tied the Nichols College women's lacrosse program record for points in one game with 10 in a 16-6 win over Dean College Friday afternoon in non-conference action at Grant Field.

Junior Mackenzie Doran added three goals while senior Elizabeth Luster collected two as the Bison (1-1), who outshot the Bulldogs 34-14. Senior goaltender Sabrina Dembro recorded five saves for Nichols, which saw senior Sam Ahaesy lead all field players with five ground balls. Houghton, meanwhile, also won six draw controls while Ahaesy and freshman McKenzie Muir each caused three turnovers.
