MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Nichols College baseball team jumped out to a 7-0 lead and cruised to a 9-4 win over Wesleyan (CT) University Thursday afternoon in non-conference action at Dressler Diamond.
Sophomore
Johnny Knox go 2-for-4 with two home runs, two RBI and two runs scored for the Bison (6-10), who also saw junior
Will Kleinhenz drove in two runs. Graduate student

William Naith also plated runs for NC.
Knox's solo round tripper in the first capped a four-run outburst and gave Nichols the early lead. He homered again in the fourth to extend the lead to 8-2.
Junior
Jack Kabel worked two innings of scoreless relief to record the win, his first of 2022. He allowed one hit and struck out three.
