SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior Will Kleinhenz drove in two runs in Nichols College's 9-5 loss at Western New England University Wednesday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) baseball action at Trelease Park.

Graduate student Nathaniel Cormier collected three hits on the afternoon while senior DJ Caron also racked up three hits and scored two runs. Junior Victor Valentin was 2-fo-3 with an RB single for Nichols (5-10, 0-3 CCC), who also received sac flies from senior Isaac Blanford and junior Brad Ellis.

Freshman starting pitcher Ben Weber scattered six hits and allowed two runs (one earned) with two walks and two strikeouts over six innings of work. Freshman Nolan Sullivan took the loss for NC, allowing three hits and four runs in the seventh.
