WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – Junior Will Kleinhenz and sophomore Johnny Knox each collected two hits in Nichols College's 13-3 loss to Eastern Connecticut State University Tuesday afternoon in non-conference baseball action at the Eastern Baseball Stadium.

Kleinhenz also recorded an RBI for the Bison with a double in the fourth as the Bison (4-7) saw junior Kyle McCutcheon allow five hits and five runs in 2.1 innings of work. He walked three and struck out two to fall to 0-2 on the season.

Freshman Patrick Doyle tossed a perfect inning of relief for Nichols, striking out two.
