Johnny Knox each drove in three runs in Nichols College's 18-3 win over Bard College Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at Starry Baseball Field.
Knox, along with seniors
DJ Caron and
Victor Valentin, and sophomore
Brennan Hyde, each left the yard for the Bison (4-6), who banged out 19 hits en route to extend their win streak to three. Cormier finished the afternoon with four hits while freshman
Ryan Porth plated three runs, and both Caron and freshman
William Nath tallied two RBI.
Freshman
Clark Churchill got the start on the bump for the Bison and earned his first collegiate victory. He allowed just three hits and one run over four innings to work. Freshmen
Ben Weber and
Patrick Doyle, along with junior
Kyle McCutcheon, each tossed one perfect inning in relief.
