Blanford's six RBI help Bison ground Falcons

GRANTHAM, Pa. – Senior Isaac Branford belted a three-run home run in the second inning to send the Nichols College to a 9-4 win over Messiah University Friday evening in non-conference baseball action at Starry Baseball Field.

Blanford added a pair of RBI singles and a sac fly to give the Bison their third win of 2022. Junior Brad Ellis drew an RBI walk to help back freshman starter Sean Ryan, who struck out eight in 8.1 innings of work to earn his first collegiate win. He surrendered six hits and four runs (three earned) to go with a pair of walks.
