GRANTHAM, Pa. – Junior Brad Ellis cleared the bases with a double in the sixth to propel the Nichols College baseball team to a 9-5 win over Bard College Friday afternoon in non-conference baseball action at Messiah University.

Junior Will Kleinhenz smacked his first home run of the season, a two-run blast to left-center for the Bison (2-6), who also saw senior DJ Caron leave the yard.

Sophomore Andrew Croteau picked up an RBI single for NC, which saw graduate student Justin Hurley record his second win of the season. The right-hander surrendered six hits and three runs over 6.2 innings of work. He walked and fanned five.
