Hornets sting Bison, 10-2

WINCHESTER, Va. – Sophomore Brennan Hyde smacked his first home run of the season in Nichols College's 10-2 loss to Shenandoah University Tuesday afternoon in non-conference baseball action at Bridgeforth Field.

Freshman Ryan Porth doubled in graduate student Nathaniel Cormier in the ninth for the Bison (1-6), who also received two hits from sophomore Andrew Croteau. Senior Brendan Duffy allowed seven hits and five runs in 2.2 innings of work to take the loss.
