Jake Harasyko threw down 19 kills and finished with a .485 hitting percentage as the Nichols College men's volleyball team defeated Elms College 3-1 Wednesday night in non-conference action at the Nichols Athletic Center.
Sophomore
Tanner Soracco finished the night with 13 kills (.345 hitting pct.), nine digs, six service aces, and three blocks as the Bison (5-2) secured their second win over the Blazers in 10 days. Sophomore
Nick Martin picked up 54 assists and nine digs while junior
Nicholas Basco racked up 17 digs and three assists.
The Bison dropped the first set, 25-22, before rallying to win the next three sets – all in a tiebreaker. They tied the match with a 26-24 win in the second set before winning the third set, 27-25. In the fourth, Nichols rallied from a 23-21 deficit to win 28-26 and secure the win.
The Bison posted a solid .284 hitting percentage on the evening and finished with 15 total blocks – including seven form freshman
