SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Nichols College men's volleyball team was defeated by No. 1 Springfield College 3-0 Thursday night in non-conference action at Blake Arena. The Pride won game one 25-23, and games to and three by identical 25-16 scores.

Sophomore Tanner Sorraco paced the Bison (5-3) with nine kills (.333 hitting pct.) and four digs. Senior Ray Wang notched five kills and three digs while sophomore Nick Martin picked up 19 assists and senior Collin Hunter racked up four kills and a pair of digs.

The Pride (8-0) entered the match atop the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III poll.
