Bison scorch Fighting Scots for seven-straight win

WENHAM, Mass. – The Nichols College men's basketball team ran its win streak to six games with a 91-62 win at Gordon College Tuesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Bennett Center.

The Bison (18-2, 11-2 CCC) – who outscored the Fighting Scots 50-29 in the second half – shot 56 percent from the field (39-of-70) – were led by graduate student Matt Morrow and freshman Tahmeen Dupree with 20 points each. Morrow also snared 14 rebounds to notch his sixth double-double of the season, all of which have come since the turn of the calendar. He also moved to within a game of tying Marcos Echevarria '19 for the most games played in program history with 119. Dupree, meanwhile, dished out seven assists.

Senior Jason O'Regan also recorded a double-double as he picked up 13 points and 10 boards while classmate Jaekwon Spencer scored 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting. Nichols outrebounded Gordon 46-41 and forced 15 turnovers. Defensively, the Bison held the Fighting Scots to just 30 percent shooting.
