Ryan Porth collected his first two collegiate hits in Nichols College's season-opening 5-0 loss to LaGrange University Friday night in non-conference baseball action at Cleavland Field.
Senior
Victor Valentin and sophomore
Brennan Hyde also recorded hits for the Bison (1-0), who saw senior starter
Brendan Duffy allow seven hits and four runs over five innings on the bump. He walked three and struck out three.
Freshman
Clark Churchill tossed the final three innings for NC and allowed three hits and one run.
