LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Nichols College Baseball team rebounded from a loss in the opener to earn its first win of the 2022 campaign by a score of 7-6 in non-conference action on Saturday at Cleaveland Field.

Nathaniel Cormier went 3-5 with a double and three RBI. Freshman

Sean Ryan got the start on the bump for the Bison and allowed five hits and four runs across 2.2 innings of work. He walked three and struck out three. Junior
Kyle McCutcheon came on in relief took the loss, allowing three unearned runs in two-plus innings of work.

Justin Hurley, who allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits through five innings with two K's to earn the win. Senior
Owen Sullivan picked up the save as he surrendered just two hits and two walks while striking out three in two innings. Jerome, meanwhile, went 3-for-4 while freshman
Ryan Porth collected two hits.
