Jakigh Dottin scored 29 points as the Nichols College men's basketball team closed the regular season with a 103-83 win at Curry College Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Katz Gymnasium.
Freshman
Tahmeen Dupree added 22 points and six assists while graduate student
Matt Morrow collected 17 points, nine rebounds, and four dimes for the Bison (22-3, 15-3 CCC), who will host a CCC Quarterfinal contest Tuesday night at the Nichols Athletic Center. Sophomore
Bryson Andrews came off the bench and added 11 points, and senior
Jason O'Regan snared nine rebounds to go with his 11 points.
Nichols shot 58 percent from the field (42-of-73) and outrebounded Curry (2-23, 1-17 CCC) by a 47-35 margin. The Bison also knocked down eight of their 20 attempts from behind the three-point arc (40 percent) and forced 17 turnovers, led by senior
Jaekwon Spencer's four steals.
