CHARLESTOWN, Mass. – Freshman Gabe Temple scored his sixth goal of the season in Nichols College's 2-1 loss to Suffolk University Saturday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's ice hockey action at Horrigan O'Neil Rink.

Seniors Petr Miko and Curtis Carlson were credited with assists on the goal for the Bison (6-14-1, 5-14-0 CCC), who outshot the Rams 49-19 on the evening. Temple, meanwhile, won 22 of us his 35 face-offs (63 percent).

Junior Korbinian Lutz stopped 17 shots while his counterpart, Cal Wilcox, turned aside 48 shots. Senior defenseman Lucas Andersson paced Nichols with eight shots on goal.
