Bison run win streak to six with triumph at Curry

CANTON, Mass. - Freshman Katherine Segalla potted her first collegiate goal in a 3-1 win at Curry College Friday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's ice hockey action at Canton Ice House.

Sophomore Megan Buxton bookended a pair of goals around Segalla's game-winner at 7:56 of the third period as the Bison (13-7-1, 8-6-1 CCC) continued to improve on the best start in program history.

Sophomore Grace Wiggett collected a pair of assists, giving her six points in her last four games (1-5-6). Graduate student Jordyn McGuire, along with juniors Lauren Rokala and Sarah Zeidan, also picked up assists.  

Freshman netminder Victoria Bakopanos stopped 20 shots to earn her sixth win of the season. Nichols outshot Curry (3-17-1, 1-12-1 CCC) by a 45-21 margin.
