QUINCY, Mass. – The Nichols women's basketball team dropped a 96-71 decision to Eastern Nazarene in non-conference play on Saturday afternoon at the Lahue Athletic Center. With the loss, the Bison dropped to a 2-6 overall record at the winter break.
 
The Lions held a 23-20 lead after the first quarter and never looked back on their way to their third win of the season.
 
Abrianna Vazquez once again paced the Bison with a 26-point performance over 33 minutes.
 
Nichols heads into the holiday break and will return to home court with a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest slated for Tuesday, January 3 against Western New England at 5:30 p.m.
